Happy Thanksgiving~

“For
every creature of God is good,
and nothing to be refused,
if it
be received with thanksgiving:
For it is sanctified
by the
word of God and prayer.”
Timothy
4:4-5

A Caring Heart
Walk through life with a
caring heart,
You'll always find someone in
need;
Go out of your way to help,
And you will be blessed by the
deed.

For all life's blessings are
born,
From a heart that's filled with
love,
And all your good acts are seen
By the eyes of God above.

So as you travel through life
Always find some time to spare,
To give someone a helping hand,
With a heart that is full of
care.

An Attitude of Gratitude
We all lead such hectic life's
that sometimes the people and
the things
that matter the most to us are
right in front of our eyes, yet
we are so
busy we don't seem to see them…
It is so very important in these
tumultuous times to start developing an
“attitude for gratitude”.
Therefore, being
careful not to take people or
the things that
we have for granted and being
grateful and thankful for the
things that we do have and in
turn sharing this gratitude
with
the people we love and even
with strangers who show us
kindness or are in need kindness,
whichever may be the case...

Praising
the Lord is one of the best ways
to express our thanks
and
gratitude to God for His
blessings and yet how many of us
do so
on a
regular basis… We normally go
through our routines of thanking
God for
the food we eat, our family and
friends and sometimes
we even
thank Him for the clothes we
wear and maybe even the car
that we
drive. However, it is at
Thanksgiving or the Holidays
that we
may even
list out our blessing and
reflect on what God has done
for us.
But shouldn’t we offer Him
sacrifice of praise, gratitude
and
thanksgiving continually…Let’s
not wait for a Holiday and
start to
practice the “attitude of
gratitude”…{smile}

It these trying times where
there are so many people
struggling
to make ends meet, I know that is hard
to give and I know
that sometimes because our fast
paced living we do not
have the energy left to even give of
ourselves ...
And
so you know, it is not always about money,
or the energy
we do not have... It is about
caring and wanting to do
something nice or special for
someone else. It does not
have to be family, or friend,
but perhaps a stranger a
in need of a helping hand...

There are so many little things
that we can do for someone,
like filling a basket with
a Thanksgiving meal and bringing
it
to their home, or making a phone
call to show that you
care and are thinking of them.
The kindness that give to
others will always comes come
back to you ten folds...
We can do a little something
special during the holiday.
Its
like
planting a little seed of
kindness, thanks, and the
"attitude of gratitude" all in
one, and then watching it grow...
If we do not know person whom we
can help then we can
ask in our Churches and even our
neighbor if they know
of
a person who is in need or lives
alone or just needs
to know that someone cares. I know we
can make this
holiday twice
as special and we can make this
"attitude of gratitude" a
way of life...

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving
and
may God Bless You, abundantly,

Happy
Thanksgiving
Together let us join our hands
On this Thanksgiving Day.
Let us join our hearts as well
As we bow our heads to pray.

Give thanks for friends and
family
For food that He has supplied.
All the wondrous things He's
done,
And the needs He does provide.

If we hear
of someone lonely
Let's ask them our food to
share.
Tell them about our Father's
love,
And show them that we care.

I'll be thinking of YOU! this
day
Of Thanksgiving days gone past.
The memories of your friendship
In my heart will forever last.

Lord
God, no matter what I own, what
I might possess,
without
You I have nothing. Turn
my sight from this
world,
dear God, and help me to seek
only You,
body,
mind, and soul.
Praise
be His Holy name, Amen.
