Lord, if this Easter,
I forget, I pray,
The wonderful, true meaning,
Of Easter day,

Then with your greatness,
Please Lord tend,
And my forgetfulness,
Please mend.

Let me recall,
The heart rending story,
Of how Jesus died,
For my salvation, and glory,

I know this seems,
But a simple task,
Yet, for Easter and its purpose,
Through Jesus, I ask.
