~In Celebration
of Our Savior's Birth~
A Christmas Prayer
Lord, Thank You for the
blessings of celebrating Christmas and for
giving us a special day to reflect on the Birth of
our Savior, Jesus Christ.
And for giving us yet another occasion to share
His love with
others and especially those who are in most need: the aged, the
children, the poor, the homeless,
the oppressed and those
with dependencies...
Teach us to be caring,
understanding, and compassionate without prejudice. I pray
that we may all feel the warmth, mercy,
light and love that
emanates from You...
May Your Love; O Merciful
God enables
us all to lead better lives in peace and in unity
and free from the ties that bind us
to our worldly things,
therefore, allowing
us to focus on living a more
Christ
centered life...
Allow us O Lord to share
with others all that we can and have. Aid us in sharing Your good
news with our families, friends and the world at large. The
most generous gifts that we can give You Lord, is our hearts and
our dedication to Your Word…
Use us, Lord, to bring your
gifts to others,
not just on this Christmas
day, but every day of our lives. Lead us on to a new path,
Sweet Jesus, that we may become more like You, loving, gentle,
caring and forgiving
as You Forgive us…
Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
