Fill Your Heart with Thanksgiving

Take nothing for granted,

for whenever you do

"the joy of enjoying"

is lessened for you~

For we rob our own lives much

 more than we know

When we fail to respond

or in any way show

Our thanks for the blessings

that daily are ours...

The warmth of the sun,

the fragrance of the flowers,

the beauty of twilight,

the freshness of dawn,

The coolness of dew

on a green velvet lawn,

The kind little deeds

so thoughtfully done,

The favors of friends

and the love that someone

Unselfishly give us

in a myriads of ways,

Expecting no payment

and no words of praise~

Oh, great is our loss

when we no longer find

A thankful response

to things of this kind,

For the "joy of enjoying"

and the fullness of living

Are found in the heart

that is filled with Thanksgiving

As we celebrate this most wonderful feast

Let's not forget those less fortunate that

may not have food on their tables, a nice

warm house, family by their side or even

some one to love them...

We pray Dear Jesus that where there's

hunger you ease their hunger pang and

that those more fortunate supply them

food.  Where there is despair you give

them hope and where there is no love that 

 through Your Grace, Dear Lord, that

 they may feel Your ever loving

Presence...

~We thank Thee O Lord~

God has blessed our homes and our

lives with the spirit of Thanksgiving.

We celebrate Thanksgiving

 because our lives overflow with

 things to be thankful for, and because

God gave us eyes to see how

incredibly we have been blessed.

We celebrate Thanksgiving because we

want to nurture our family, friends and

ourselves.

We celebrate through our willingness

to share, to love each other, and to

grow in faith...

And we celebrate by opening our hearts

to the Lord and letting His Spirit

fill our lives with the His

 abundance of Love for us...
